Description
Summary:A public toilet is a room with sanitary facilities that is necessary for every one of us in everywhere. In Malaysia, every shopping mall has its own toilet unit and the cleanliness of the toilets will affect the impression of the shopping mall. Therefore, cleaning supervisor and cleaners are playing an important role to manage the toilet cleanliness in an effective way. Usually, there is a paper stick on the wall to record the cleaning task done by cleaners in the toilets of shopping malls. The cleaning supervisor will check the toilet condition by patrolling to each toilet unit. In order to ease the communication between cleaning supervisor and cleaners, a mobile-based toilet management system integrated with an interactive panel is proposed in this project. There are 2 users for mobile application that are cleaning supervisor and cleaner whereas the interactive panel is for toilet users. Cleaning supervisor able to manage cleaner profiles, arrange the cleaning schedule, view the cleaning requests, toilet ratings and incidents that reported by cleaners. On the other hand, cleaner able to record their cleaning time, receive cleaning requests from toilet user and report the incidents that they unable to solve. The interactive panel allows the toilet user to make a request on any cleaning services whenever they face some problems in the toilet, instead of directly looking for the cleaner or cleaning supervisor. They even can rate the toilet condition according to their own satisfaction after they used the toilet. The development of the system provides the cleaning supervisor and cleaner an effective and efficient way to communicate and manage the toilet cleanliness in a shopping mall.
