“WAK” or as known as “What About Kuching” is an event that involved of arts, culture and lifestyle themed in Kuching which is organizing various activities to perform their talents among the youth people. Therefore, there is three objectives which is to study public acceptance of the “WAK” event, to analyze understanding of the concept of the “WAK” event and to identify the factors that encourage community or people to attend “WAK” event. In this study, researcher will describe the background of “WAK” event, literature review and the method. The researcher used quantitative method and to obtain the data, researcher used instruments such as survey to achieve the objectives of the study.
