Summary:This study aimed to examine the revolution taking place in Syria and the intervention offoreign powers in resolving the conflict in Syria and in order to ensure their national interests. In addition, this study also examines the causes and effects of this .revolution on Syria that started in 2011. Besides that, this study also focuses on the involvement ofSyria in Chemical Wapons Convention (CWC) as a way to reduce the use and production of chemical weapons in Syria when the Syrian government has a//egedly used chemical weapons in tackling down the revolution that happenned in Syria. In addition, this study also discusses about the effectiveness of the intervention offoreign powers in grantingfreedom to the Syrian people.
