They are primary and secondary forest of Dorod Tramuo Heritage Park in Kampung Stass, Bau. Dryobalanops sp. dominated in primary forest and Durio zibethinus dominated in secondary forest. Species diversity was higher in primary forest as expected of a primary forest. Tree DBH and height was used as parameters to see the diversity and significant difference between two forests. Logging or any other type of disturbance could have occurred in the past as the primary forest shows a slightly similar quality to secondary forest. Biomass of forest shows the forest structure where more upperground biomass indicates denser forest structure in a sense that the forest floor is crowded with lower vegetation. Due to competition among lower vegetation, rate of mortality and growth increase which affect the biomass of the forest.
