Summary: | Various studies have been done to proof that individual recognition can be done based on their unique gaits. Gait refers to the walking pattern of an individual and is a
form of biometrics that is useful for individual recognition. The approach to this project is to study how the distance of an individual’s feet from the ground is related to the speed of motion. This experiment will involve 10 subjects performing movement in 2 different
speeds which are fast and normal walk. After the compilation of the database, the silhouette of the subjects will be further processed and analysed. |
