With the help of PLS (SEM), instrument of job characteristics (as job complexity), employees' attitudes and different categories of job perfonnance were validated in the Pakistani context. The CF A confinned the presence of two newly computed constructs (student development perfonnance and knowledge development perfonnance) in the task perfonnance of academicians. The CFA also con finned and validated the job perfonnance categories involved in this thesis. The proposed model was a good fit (GoF = 0.993) and Q2 values for all endogenous constructs was greater than zero. Hence, the causal relationships between job complexity and organizational commitment, job satisfaction and turnover intention were established according to Social Exchange theory in Pakistan's context.
