The photocatalytic activity was measured based on MB degradation, Higher TiD2 concentrations were accompanied by higher degradation efficiency when the MB solution was analysed by using Ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometer. However, an increment in the MB concentrations resulted in lower degradation efficiency. Experiments by using recycled beads revealed the potential of using Ti~1 Ca-alginate beads for multiple treatments which can be regarded as cost effective and environmentally friendly catalyst.
