Description
Summary:Syringe is one of the device that regularly used in the hospital or clinic. It functioned to deliver medication into patient’s bloodstream and withdraw small amount of blood for blood test or specimen. There are also few invention had made on syringe pump. The automatic syringe pump such as infusion pump are widely used in the world. Many company had released their own product with different kind of flowrate, prices, functionality and more. There are also some studies by researcher to create a good flowrate for infusion of a specific drug or fluid of the infusion syringe pump. Majority of the infusion syringe pump are functioning to deliver drug via tube channel with a very small amount and flowrate such as 0.1ml/min. The process is continuous and only stop depending on the condition of the patient. As for this project, it is focus on the normal injection or withdrawal processes and not about infusing the drug at a very small rate. The process of injecting the drug into patient’s bloodstream and withdrawing blood is only took around few second. The process of injection should happened as fast as possible to reduce the painful feeling occurred during and after the process of injection. It is also help to reduce money loss due to the few droplets of drug loss when using normal method of withdrawal drug from a bottle. Besides, this system help to ensure the safety of the patient as it deliver the accurate and precise amount of drug to the patient.
