A study was conducted in PelakN Holdings (M) &In Bhd restaurant that were situated in the main terminal building of K1tala Lumpur International Airport (KllA) and around Kuola Lumpur. The factors include demogrophic characteristics such m age and education level, financial factors such as wages, Employee Provident Funds (EPF), Social Security Organization (SOCSO), royolties and transport allowance. Non-financial foctors such as employee's hostel, transportation and medical benefits, and geographic factors such as location of the work place and employees residents. Some concepts selected from lite previous studies as revealed to forther enhance the understanding ofthe readers. In this study, the questionnaire method is used to obtain feedback and the relevant doto. A total of90 employees from jive PelakN Holdings (M) &In BMrestaurants were chosen as the sample of the study. The respondents' background, factors that influence work retention and the respondents ' opinions toward the related factors were examined. The data ofthe study was analyzed using the descriptive statistics. Pearson Correlation Test and Regression Test are used to examine the hypotheses. Chi-square test is used to determine the relationsltip between variohks. The correlation between wages factor and work retention is moderate. The correlation between EPF, sacso, royalties and transport allowances with work retention are high. Education level factor shows poSitive and significant correlation with work retention. Age factor and tlte location of work place and employees' residents shows a weak correlation with work retention. There is no co"elation in the relationship between employee 's hostel, transportation and medical benefit with work retention. It Is found that EPF , royalties and age is the dominant foctor, followed by wages, SOCSO, transport allowances, education level and the location of work place and employees' residents. 85.5 percent of the 90 respondents does not agree with the process of taking Indonesian and Bangladesh workers to work in PHSB restaurants. Another 4.5 percent agreed with these processes because of the low pay. The respondents also t!rink that the employer should increase the salary or the wages of the employees. In solving the problem regarding the shortage of workers, 94.4 percent of the respondents suggest that the employer should emplay new workers or perform job enrichment. These findings show that the related factors should be given serious attention to related employees in the organization. Some suggestions have been recommended for the organization and for future research to be more complete.
