It also focuses on the views of the strategies used by the female teachers to dea l with students' misbehavior. The study involved fifteen female teachers from two selected Secondary School in Serian District. The instruments used for the data collection in this study were semistructured interview questions, observation checklist and self-reflection inventory. The data collected were analyzed, tabulated, discussed and written descriptively in relation to the research objectives. From the analysis of the findings, it revealed that the female teachers often encountered distracting misbehavior in the classroom. The findings also revealed that majority of the female teachers preferred to use preventive strategies to overcome misbehavior in their classroom.
