Description
Summary:The application of biofertilizer on plant crops has been a trend in th e agricultural industries. Biofertilizer contain li ving microorganism or plant growth promoting microbes (PGPM) that able to supply adequate nutrients needed for plant growth. Three bacterial suspension which are Burkholderiaunomae, Enterobacler cloacae and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens were used as biofertilizer inoculants. Long bean seeds treated with these plant growth promoting bacteria showed improvement in plant growth and increased in height. Furthermore, co-inoculation of B. amyloliquefaciens with other two bacteria enhances the germination rate of the plant. In addition , treatment with E. cloacae has taller plant height as compared to the other treatment and control. These results strongly suggest that these plant growth promoter bacteria could be used as biofertilizer to promote plant growth.
