This research was carried out to study the challenges in maintaining the productivity of Bergerang weaving in Kampung Semera. The objective of this research is to identify the challenges that faced by the Bergerang weaver and the villagers of Kampung Semera in order to help sustain the productivity of this Bergerang weaving. Besides that, to study the factors that cause the villagers of Kampung Semera uninterested to involved into Bergerang activities which will have an impact to Bergerang productivity . Lastly, is recommending the effective steps to help to maintain this Bergerang productivity. Descriptive study was used by researcher with qualitative and quantitative approaches. In order to collect the data, interview and questionnaire was used in this research. Three informant who were bergerang weaver and 100 peoples of villagers of Kampung Semera was involved in this research. Analyzing through SSPS (Statistical Package for Social Science) was used to analyze data that has been collected and coded Through this research, researcher hopes that this research will help to maintain productivity of Bergerang handicrafts.
