A set of questionnaire was distributed to 33 respondents among which 12 respondents were categorized under the X-Generation while another 21 respondents were from the Boom Generation. The respondents were selected by using the purposive sampling. Inferential analyses that were utilized in this study were Mann- Whitney test and Kruskal- Wallis test. The Kruskal- Wallis analysis was used to identify differences between attitude towards wort, motivation and level of education with work competencies. Meanwhile, the Mann-Whitney test was used to identify differences between genders. The analyses revealed that the level of work competencies for both X Generation and Boom Generation are moderate. The findings showed that there are no significant differences between employees' attitude towards work and motivation with work competencies for both of the generations. Further more, the gender factor of the generations did not record a significant difference with their work competencies. Thus, it is recommended for the organization to emphasizes on aspects to improve the work competen.
