This study aims to identify the causes group of professionals especially Muslim people avoid to pay the zakat income. The factors that influence these peolpe to avoid paid the zakat is because of they did not know they have to paid the zakat. They never realize it is a must to pay the zakat income. These factors prove that level of awareness of people is still in at a low level same as that has been stated by Pusat Pungutan Zakat. Besides, they assume that zakat income is similar to income tax and they getting puzzle with distribution of zakat. The objective of this study is to develop a multimedia application as a learning tool for the users so that they can improve their knowledge and awareness of zakat income. ADDLE model has been used as a guide in order to develop this application because the only model that can be used to design and build up of web-based learning. Joomla Open Source has been utilized to develop the application prototype because this software is flexible and easy to apply. In depth interview and questionnaires was conducted to identify the contents of the module. A subject specialist from Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak, Kota Samarahan branch was interviewed and 15 staff randomly selected respondents from UNIMAS. The finding shows that majority of respondents agree with the content, graphic, navigation and the structure of the web application. However, there is still having an improvement to make to the web application to be more effective.
