| Summary: | This research is aimed to study whether ergonomic factors exist in contributing towards effective industrial safety and health. The research scope covers the production floor
employees that work in Polish Department at Komag USA (Malaysia) Sarawak Operation which is based in Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone, Muara Tabuan, Kuching. As many as 60
respondents were randomly selected for this research. Majority of the respondents are manufacturing technicians at Komag. The result of Pearson Correlations shows the
relationship between ergonomic factors and effectiveness of industrial safety and health. Whereby the relationship is significant or exist if the level of significance, p<0.01 or 0.05 depending on the level of confidence. One Sample T Test was used to determine whether the hypothesis null-Ergonomic factors contribute towards the effectiveness of industrial safe and health is accepted or the opposite.
