It becomes imperative to assess the level of resident satisfaction with the provided urban infrastructure, as they constitute the primary users of such infrastructure. Hence, a crosssectional survey was undertaken to investigate the relationship between urban infrastructure sustainability dimensions and resident satisfaction in low-cost housing in Kuching, Sarawak. A total of 108 samples participated in the study, providing data through questionnaires, which were subsequently analyzed using descriptive analysis and PLS-SEM Path Analysis. The quantitative findings have confirmed the reliability and validity of the research model, thereby supporting its empirical foundation. The results of this study demonstrate the validity of all five constructs, namely infrastructure network, social, environmental, transportation, and resident satisfaction of low-cost housing. These constructs were identified as valid measurements based on their measurement estimates and statistical significance. The study found that the social dimension has a significant positive effect on resident satisfaction with low-cost housing in Kuching. The findings of this study have practical implications for policy makers, urban planners, and developers, providing them with invaluable insights into designing blueprints for improvements that can facilitate the development of urban infrastructure for low-cost housing. The increasing need for infrastructure presents a considerable sustainability challenge in
the context of urban expansion, social dynamics, and environmental considerations. It
becomes imperative to assess the level of resident satisfaction with the provided urban
infrastructure, as they constitute the primary users of such infrastructure. Hence, a crosssectional survey was undertaken to investigate the relationship between urban
infrastructure sustainability dimensions and resident satisfaction in low-cost housing in
Kuching, Sarawak. A total of 108 samples participated in the study, providing data
through questionnaires, which were subsequently analyzed using descriptive analysis and
