Description
Summary:Awareness and knowledge about suicide is crucial in addressing suicidal behaviour, especially among university students. However, students often struggle with recognizing suicidal behaviour and responding appropriately because they may lack the knowledge to identify the warning signs, or they may feel unsure about how to approach the situation. Additionally, some students may not have experience with mental health issues and may not know where to turn for help. Therefore, web application called AWASuicide (Awareness Against Suicide) is proposed to solve the problems. This web application will provide information about suicide, warning signs, and response toward the sign, as well as a quiz to test students' understanding and an online chat platform for students to seek advice from advisor such as counsellors or physiologists. With these features provided, the proposed system will help to increase awareness and ultimately prevent suicide among university students
