Babyyen Nayah, Langgie H Social Sciences (General) Employee are the vital asset in an organization and retaining the employee has become biggest challenges for the growth of the organization. Organization that aware of the important of their employee always well-being of the employee and made them always being engaged in their work. In order to ensure employee engagement in the workplace, management style has been seen as one of the important considerations for both employees and organization. Management styles in this study included transformational, transactional, and coaching management style. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between management styles and employee engagement among scaffolder in selected private sector that is located in Bintulu, Sarawak. Quantitative research design was used for this research and a total 55 data were collected from scaffolders via online survey which is the questionnaire was designed using Google Form. This study implied Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression method for the hypothesis testing. This study reveals that all of the management styles (transformational, transactional, and coaching management style) correlated positively with employee engagement. However, none of the management styles can be a dominant factor that can influence employee engagement. The findings of this study provide fruitful information about management styles and contribute to the body of knowledge for both practitioners and future researchers in order to improve the issue related to employee engagement.
