Summary:This study aims to determine the relationship between work life balance and happiness among employees in organization. The research was conducted at the Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC), Kuching. The findings of this study determine on the relationship between work life balance and happiness among the employees in STIDC. The research approach that has been used was causal research which is also a direct causal relationship with a quantitative cross sectional survey research. The survey research was conducted to collect in depth and numerical data on the relationship between the factors of work life balance and happiness and which factor is dominant that affecting happiness of employees. The instrument used in this stage was closed ended questionnaire with five Likert Scale. Eighty three respondents have participated in this study which is, fifty three are assigned for the actual study and the rest thirty for the purpose of the pilot test that has been done through Google Forms. The employees that participated were from the same department in STIDC. The analysis techniques used in quantitative method were Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression. Pearson Correlation was used to the significant relationship between the four independent variables which is work family conflict, family work conflict, work enhancement, personal life enhancement and dependent variable (happiness). While Multiple Regression was used to test which four independent variables is most dominant that can affect the dependent variable. The findings of this research also bring several implications. Recommendation are also given to organization, HR practitioner and future research to improve their employees work life balance in order to achieve the happiness in their routine life.
