Polymeric micro capsules containing functional group are prepared using suspension polymerization technique. This micro capsule can be used in diverse application such as selective separation of metals, recovery of high purity metal from its lean sources, removal of toxic metals from industrial waste, preconcentration of metals to improve detection limits and so on.
