Due to nonlinear nature of power flow, it is difficult to trace the loss of each transmission line that contributed by which generator. Thus, several algorithms have been proposed to solve this problem. This paper presents a study of transmission loss allocation in deregulated power systems. This paper presents the novelty of two methods namely superposition method and proportional tree method (PTM). A number of simulations are performed based on their assumptions to compare their performance and verify the correctness of each method. Finally, conclusions and recommendations are given. 2009-12-09T02:19:19Z 2009-12-09T02:19:19Z 2008-12-01 Working Paper p.988-993 978-1-4244-2404-7 http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpls/abs_all.jsp?=&arnumber=4762619 http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/7380 en Proceedings of the IEEE 2nd International Power and Energy Conference (PECon 2008) Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) |
