Various method of preparation of the counter electrode have been employed. It is found that the device utilizing the counter electrode prepared via liquid phase deposition technique (LPD) performs the highest power conversion efficiency that is 1.18 %. Next, the effect of the concentration of nickel chloride (NiCl2) on the performance of the device utilizing the composite prepared via LPD technique has been investigated.
