The final year project has evaluated an isolated forward converter with a review to future development of a laboratory teaching unit. The report contains a review/study of isolated forward converter operation and historical development for the transformer reset process. The project provides detailed operational waveforms of a typical isolated forward converter. The project correlates the waveform results with basic theory.
