Prof. Dr. Bhuvenesh Rajamony CNC machining Curved surface CNC machining -- Analysis Access is limited to UniMAP community. This report discussed about development of the final year project with title of Experimental Analysis of the Efficiency of CNC machining for Curved Surface, is a process of machining curved surface on machinable wax with many variables and process parameters settings that contribute to the formation of good quality product in a short period. Therefore, operation and parameter setup of the CNC machining process are the key elements when trying to get the best product. Parameters such as factor A-Spindle speed, factor B-Feedrate, and factor C-Stepover are the factors study in this research. A L4 3 factors 2 levels orthogonal array technique has been used to study the effects of the machining curved surface parameters. Four experimental trials were carried out in the experiment with two levels for each factor. The output from the experiment is the Surface Roughness and Material Removal Rate (MRR), and the data has been statistically analyzed by using Design Expert Software and Qualitek4. The Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) shown that the most important factors for machining curved surface is factor C-Stepover and follow by factor B-Feedrate and factor C-Spindle speed. 2016-02-21T01:58:41Z 2016-02-21T01:58:41Z 2010-04 Learning Object http://dspace.unimap.edu.my:80/xmlui/handle/123456789/40872 en Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) School of Manufacturing Engineering
