An effective plan needs to be done in order to encourage city residences to use non-motorized vehicles in the city to address the problem of congestion, delay and air pollution that arose. The implementation of non-motorized lane can be done if the major factors that affect the use of non-motorized transportation are identified. City residences have the big impact towards the implementation of non-motorized lane, so this research was conducted to investigate the level of satisfaction of city residence towards this implementation whether it is suitable or not to implement in this city. The result for this research was obtained from the distribution of questionnaire among 259 respondents. The readiness of city residence towards implementation of non-motorized transportation based on trip distance was investigated. The result shows that mostly respondents preferred to use non-motorized vehicles in short trip distances compared to use motorized vehicles for long trip distances. The case study suggested that the most acceptable distance for pedestrians and cyclists is between 1 km and 4 km. Besides, the factor affecting the use of non-motorized transportation was identified. Mostly respondents agreed the main factors that affects the use of non- motorized vehicles in this city was because of non-motorized lane are not provided. The level of satisfaction of city residence towards the recommendation facilities of non-motorized transportation was also determined. The respondents were give positive feedback and satisfied with all the recommendation provided.
