This Final Year Project is proposed to design a reliable low voltage electrical installation system for Kg. Wai Laboratory. This was a software base project, AutoCAD software was the only software used for electrical drawing for this building. The load calculation, sizing cable, main switchboard and power factor correction board design is considered in the design of low voltage electrical installation system. This design was referred based on the IEE Wiring Regulation 17th Edition, International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Regulation, Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) standard and some code of practices. Regulations are optimization tools to ensure secure and efficient operation of the electric power system. Design standards and regulation are fixed for every project but design requirements to suit architecture layout differs for various type of projects.
