Ridhwan hanafi@eng.usm.my niknoriman@unimap.edu.my EPDM rPE Swelling analysis Thermal properties vPE Link to publisher's homepage at http://www.ttp.net/ The effects of carbon black (CB), silica and calcium carbonate (CaCO3) in virgin polyethylene (vPE)/recycle polyethylene (rPE)/ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EPDM) blends were investigated. rPE was melt blended with EPDM in different ratio by using a Haake Rheomix. The characterization such as swelling analysis and thermal properties were examined. Results indicated that, vPE/rPE/EPDM blend with CB show best oil (ASTM IRM 903) and toluene resistant and also thermal properties compared with silica and CaCO3. 2014-04-07T12:46:40Z 2014-04-07T12:46:40Z 2013 Article Advanced Materials Research, vol. 795, 2013, pages 372-376 978-303785811-0 1022-6680 http://www.scientific.net/AMR.795.372 http://dspace.unimap.edu.my:80/dspace/handle/123456789/33469 en Trans Tech Publications |
