Description
Summary:As a government tertiary education institution (IPTA), UniMAP in Perlis is nichebased university focused mainly on engineering. Since its first operation five years ago, UniMAP owns a few campuses and residential college allover Perlis. This is because the main university site in Pauh is still under construction and UniMAP holds the concept of distribution campus. As a government university, it is UniMAP’s social responsibility to provide essential health service treatment to all its community. As this university is a distributed campus, UniMAP had appointed a few clinics and dentistry throughout Perlis and Kedah to act as its’ panel clinic. As UniMAP’s community is increasing every year, the current health record management is quite tedious and unpractical. This is because the current method use is using form and manual method. All patients detail and cost of treatment are stated down and later gathered before being sent to UniMAP’s Registry department. This final year project main focus is to develop an integrated information health database for UniMAP’s panel clinic using web based data system. Current health data of every student and staff can be retrieved just by a click away. This centralized integrated information health database will continuously retrieve data from panel clinics. All the details (kind and cost of treatment and drugs) used will be processed and directly send to this centralized database system. Further studies in database system and dynamic web development had help constructing this system. UniMAP e-Clinic has been successfully developed to cater the needs in organizing UniMAP community health records. The search system has been successfully constructed.
