Sodium Dedecyl Sulfate (SDS) was used as coupling agent in these composites. The effect of filler content and SDS on tensile properties, thermal properties, water absorption and morphology of rPP/CSP composites were investigated. In this study, modified rPP/CSP composites with SDS show significant increased tensile propertied, thermal stability, crystallinity and low water absorption compared unmodified rPP/CSP composites. Those improvements were contributed by the coupling effect of SDS. 2014-03-20T07:54:20Z 2014-03-20T07:54:20Z 2013-02-03 Article Polymer - Plastics Technology and Engineering, vol. 52(3), 2013, pages 287-294 0360-2559 http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/03602559.2012.749282#.Uyqd56iSyyp http://dspace.unimap.edu.my:80/dspace/handle/123456789/32919 en Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
