Three sets of solution were prepared with the concentrations of 0.3M, 0.6M and 1.0M of sodium benzoate respectively. The aim is to enable the rate of corrosion in seawater by using inhibitors. It was found that the highest corrosion rate was observed for the alloy without inhibitor in seawater condition. The corrosion rate is decreases as the concentration of sodium benzoate being increased.
