Stress is one of an unsteady state of human like uncontrolled machineries in industries. In order analysis effects of human stress, several studies have reported to identify the physiological and psychological variation of stress. Based on these variations, researchers attempting to develop the stress level identification and classification system. This stress assessment system will be useful for consultant to choose the appropriate stress relaxation and management techniques to reduce the stress. Even though huge anticipation among this kind of scientific approach, limited number of experimental works have done to prove several theoretical concepts of stress, According to the recent hypothetical studies, human experiences stress in four major reasons such as emotional, behavioral, physical, and cognitive. In general, Stress will increases the heart rate, blood pressure, respiration rate, rapid muscle activity, and skin temperature etc. Further advancement of this research caused the system development and which is limited experimental correlation between this symptoms and stress. This present study is intended to acquire the effect of stress due to physical, cognitive, and emotional demands in stimulated environment. As a result of this study, we have designed simple data acquisition method using three different protocols to assess the relationships between these three kinds of stress from above three stimuli through physiological signals. 2012-07-19T14:19:15Z 2012-07-19T14:19:15Z 2012-02-27 Working Paper http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/20499 en Proceedings of the International Conference on Man-Machine Systems (ICoMMS 2012) Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) School of Mechatronic Engineering
