Urban storm water modeling is one of the alternatives management and design tools in water engineering field. Users have so many choices in selecting the appropriate model base on their application purpose and one the then is Storm Water management Model (SWMM). The EPA SWMM (SWMM) is a dynamic rainfall-runoff simulation model that used of a single event or long-term (continuous) simulation of runoff quantity and quality. Additionally, running under Windows, SWMM 5 provides an integrated environment for editing study area input data, running hydrologic, hydraulic and water quality simulations, and viewing the results in a variety of formats. Sensitivity analysis that carry out in this study is in order to determine the main influence of all parameters applied to runoff depth and peak flow. By successfully running the sensitivity analysis, the selection of calibration parameters can be minimize. The calibration processes for local parameters give the result in meaningful range. The mean result for Relative Error (RE) and Absolute Relative Error (ARE) were found under 10 and 25 percent respectively and these indicate that the modeling processes are successful. As a conclusion, SWMM5 could successfully simulated local urban drainage well based on available local parameters. Finally, flood forecasting could be based on die validated event for risk assessment study. 2011-01-25T03:03:39Z 2011-01-25T03:03:39Z 2009-03-03 Working Paper http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/10529 en Proceedings of the 1st Regional Conference on Geo-Disaster Mitigazation and Waste Management in ASEAN AUN/Seed-Net (ASEAN University Network/Southeast Asia Engineering Education Development Network
