Ahmad Sobri Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons) in Electrical Top 20 People used a many types of direct bill payment system to clear the electricity bill in the end of month or when the electricity supply have been cut. Electricity “top-up” system is types of system, which may use NFC reader, NFC write data, maybe could involve internet communication and other apparatus. Electricity “top-up” system is common in areas where utility like Touch N Go toll and commuter transportation ticket. It is reliable in urban areas. It is useful to provide alternative to electricity bill update. The Electricity “top-up” System is designed to provide Touch N Use system which electricity when normal utility like lights, fans and home appliances be powered by credit have been insert into the system. Value of the credits applied to the amount of Watt supplied. The components for this prototype system including micro-controller raspberry Pi, NFC reader shield, charge controller, relay and other related safety devices that installed at Distribution Board (DB) these are main fuse switch, Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) and Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB). Under non left credit circumstances, utility power is not charge the relay as a switching in order give direct power to the loads. When the utility insert the credits by swap card, the relay automatically inverts the switching contact from TNB source to panel source. In this way the loads continue to operate at all times. The amount of supply Watt is determined by the credits be insert or the duration of that the credit will be expected to operate in the output. The amount of time that backup power is expected to be needed determines the capacity of the electricity. 2015-03-09T10:42:27Z 2015-03-09T10:42:27Z 2015-03-09 http://localhost/xmlui/handle/123456789/9425 en |
