It is imprints formed by friction ridges of the skin and thumbs. Its have long been used for identification because of their immutability and individuality. Basic on this reason, an idea to develop a system that used a fingerprint pattern as a password were assigned. The main purpose of this project is to provide security services in which only fingerprint template that have been store can access. The probability of this system to broke or being hacked is low due to the pattern of every human fingerprint is different. A fingerprint is the feature pattern of human finger which composed of many friction ridges and furrows. It is highly believed with strong evidences that each of human fingerprints is unique. At the beginning stage of this project, using Microsoft Visual Basic software, the employee’s data register was stored in SQL database will be retrieve once the scanner detects a fingerprint. If the data register recognize the fingerprint template, it will let the authorized person access the system. Otherwise, the system will trigger an alarm warning and automatically will shut down the application for the security purpose. This developed system not only improves a security service but also produce a better time management system. It is because of every time the employees enter the developed system; the employees must do the fingerprint recognition.
