The adaptive street lighting system technically consists of intelligent monitoring and controlling systems. The monitoring or supervisory system developed to supervise basically two scenarios that are incoming and outgoing vehicles scenario and the weather conditions. The problem nowadays in Malaysia, they still using sodium vapour streetlight bulb. Technically, this type of street lighting is very energy consuming and has low efficiency as well as shorter life span. The proposed project aims is to overcome this problem and introduce a lighting system which is very adaptive and cost saving. The main objectives are to develop a street lighting system which consumes low energy as well as the energy saving. The problem encounter from previous work has been given idea to create a system that will overcome all of the problems occurring. The Adaptive Street Lighting System is one of the ideal conceptual systems that are the best solution to reduce the energy wasted and reduce the pollution into the air. By making comparison between LED (Light Emitting Diode) with others type of bulb, the advantages of the LED will shows that this type of bulb has many benefits as well as low energy consumption and long life span. With today’s limited energy resources and high energy tariff, energy saved lighting system is needed. This adaptive lighting system is potentially solution to this problem. 2013-05-22T09:57:34Z 2013-05-22T09:57:34Z 2013-05-22 http://ir.unikl.edu.my/jspui/handle/123456789/2250 en |
