The process of the packing is use the sealer machine to compress plastic film in the vertically and horizontally side. The volume of the soybean in the packaging is around 300 centimetre per square. Size of the plastic that to be seal is 10 centimetre at width and 15 centimetre at the length. The movement of the sealer machine to compress the plastic film in vertically and horizontally used the thread bar system. The thread bar is connected with pulley and belting to the motor power window that control the speed and compression of the sealer machine. The maximum torque of the motor is bigger than 8 newton per meter and the speed is around 70 rate per minute. Furthermore, the movements of the plastic film is control by the motor power window and it flow from the upper machine to the last process of packing that is the seal plastic film in horizontal side. The plastic film is shape by the guider in the funnel at the machine along the movements of the plastic to the bottom machine. The first process of the packaging process is the movements of plastic film to the bottom of the sealer. Then, the vertical sealer will seal the side of the plastic and the horizontal will compress to seal the plastic film in the bottom. After the soybean being measured in the container, it will flow to the funnel of the packaging process and fall down to the horizontal sealer. The horizontal sealer will compress the upper plastic film that full with the soybean for the last process of the packaging process. The goal of this project is to design and develop of packaging process (Automated “Tempe” Machine) which is the first automated machine in the Asia. This is because the traditional process is not suitable to use now days.
