Description
Summary:The study had been carried out based on the Human Genome Project from the year 2000 to 2003. The study was done by using the website of National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). The Genbank was screened by using three human endogenous retroviruses, I-lERV-E, ERV9 and MSRV that act as probes. All the three probes can be found in the female reproductive organs. The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between the human endogenous retroviruses that are found in the sex chromosomes and autosomes. Phylogenetic tree had been construct in order to analyze this relationship. The result of the phylogenetic analysis indicate that the human endogenous retroviruses were first found in the sex chromosomes and were later transferred into the autosomes.
