Thus, as well raise the need to incorporate leT in teaching and learning at all levels of education is deemed essential as multimedia technology have expanded the way in which information and subjects matter can be delivered in classrooms settings. An interactive courseware seeing to be able to play its enjoyment and spurred curiosity when used in presenting and delivering content, issues and information to the students of today. Majority of the interactive multimedia courseware that available in the Malaysian market focuses on subjects such as Malay language, English Language, Chinese Language, Mathematics, and Science. Therefore, this study presents finding from a survey research conducted on the Form 5 students and History teachers at 7 secondary schools in Federal Territory Labuan. The main purpose of this study is to determine the teachers and students' perception towards an interactive courseware in Form 5 history education. A set of questionnaire has been distributed to 129 Form 5 students and an interview session was conducted to 4 History teachers. The findings show majority of the students had experiences using courseware in their others subjects learning. Thus, students give positive responses on the potential benefits of history courseware. Furthermore, our study also reveals that teachers mainly realized that courseware give their potential benefits in their history subject teaching process despites the possible constraint and challenges that the teachers encounter if interactive multimedia courseware will be used in classroom settings. The study concluded that there are needs and opinions from teachers and students perceptions that should be taken into account and considered before the designing and development of multimedia courseware for history subject.
