Other than that, this project aimed to test three different diameters of receptors 0.2m, 0.5m and 0.8m with different needles numbers and lengths. This paper is aimed to develop a new shape of wind turbine receptors with different needles number and length also to suggest the parameters for receptor diameter and needles. Finite Element Method (FEM) has used for this research, the proper dimensions and shapes of receptors simulated by suggesting the minimum and maximum electric field that accumulates around receptors.
