This message was related by its vice chancellor Professor Ir Dr Zainai Mohamed when he visited Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Cyberjaya on March 27, along with 20 personnel that included its senior faculty members, staff and administrators. They were greeted on arrival by Senior vice president Academic Development Professor Datuk Parid Wardi, vice-president Corporate Relations and Integration Fajura Juffa and vice president Network Development and Student Services Department Nazaruddin Abdul Jalil. The University Malaysia Kelantan spent almost four hours visiting the campus where they visited the Presidential library, the Malaysia Branding and Packaging Design Centre and had a briefing at the President’s board room. Professor Ir Dr Zainai Mohamed also made a 30 minutes courtesy call to president and founder Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dr Lim Kok Wing at his office. During the briefing at the president’s board room, the University Malaysia Kelantan team had a first hand look of the university’s set-up, the opening of the campus branch in the United Kingdom and its expansion plan. The briefing was jointly delivered by vice president Corporate Relations and Integration Fajura Juffa and vice-president Network Development and Student Services Department Nazaruddin Abdul Jalil. At the end of the briefing, Professor Dr Zainai Mohamed commended the hard work carried out by the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in carrying the Malaysian university flag overseas and making its presence felt as a global education institution. He recognised the fact that this private institution managed to open up five branches overseas within the short span of time. 2012-03 Image NonPeerReviewed image en http://discol.umk.edu.my/id/eprint/9896/1/fledging_kelantan_university_inspired_to_take_a_leaf_from_limkokwings_book.jpg Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Canselori (2012) Fledging Kelantan university inspired to take a leaf from Limkokwing’s book.
