Description
Summary:There are 310 genera of muroid rodents were founded and 1517 species were recognized in the world. DNA sequences of ten species from superfamily Muridae were retrieved from NCBI GenBank database and aluate phylogenetic relationships by using mitochondrial cytochrome b gene. The analysis are using the neighborjoining (NJ), the maximum parsimony (MP), maximum likelihood (ML), minimum evolution (ME) and Bayesian Inference (BI) tree analysis method. The best method to determine the ancestry between samples are Bayesian analysis because it have the highest phylogenetic confidence and resolve most branches.
