Description
Summary:In this study, the TiO2-Al2O3-CNT nanocomposite was successfully synthesized via hydrothermal method for 24 hours at 200ºC. Nanocomposites were characterized by X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transformation Infrared Spectrophotometer (FTIR), Optical Microscope (OM) and UV-Vis. The results showed that the major peaks visible in all patterns were identified as anatase TiO2 with the absence of rutile. Hydrothermal induced no new face formation but only altered TiO2 structure. Agglomerated of TiO2, Al2O3 and CNT particles were observed in nanocomposite. The highest photocatalytic aktivity of methyl orange was achieved by nanocomposite with no addition of CNT.
