Description
Summary:The present study area is a part of Lojing and it is lies between latitude 4ᶿ 45’ 30” N — 4° 49’ 0” N and longitude 101°45’ 30” E — l01°48’ 30”E. This study were focused on to produce an updated geological map and assessing of vulnerable locations of landslide based on satellite imageries of different years which selected for visual interpretation, vegetation indices (VIs) and root mean square error (RMSE). General geology study includes lithostratigraphy structural analysis and petrography analysis of the study area. The lithology that found in the study area consists of limestone, chert, sandstone, slate, siltstone and mudstone. As a result, there were 18 locations of landslide determined which landslide had occurred. Besides, the approach of remote sensing technique in landslide assessment was defined.
