There are cases of human-wildlife (HWC) that are affected both side daily activities. An interview-based survey of Human-Wildlife Conflict (HWC) was conducted between three districts in Jeli to identify the villager’s opinion and respond when facing the conflicts. A total of 195 questionnaires were distributed to three districts, which mean 65 questionnaires for each districts. Awareness, perceptions, opinions, and observations of the nuisance behaviour of wildlife and the effectiveness of precautionary measures by the authorities were discussed in this survey. Results indicated that wild boar issued the highest number of cases of human-wildlife conflict (HWC) in all three districts in Jeli. The primary reason given for these conflicts was over-hunting and rapid urbanization. For the kind of conflicts, the respondent who seen the wildlife is the highest score and lastly the respondents had chosen Jabatan Perhilitan (DWNP) and Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPAM) as the most effective and trusted government authorities to manage the human-wildlife conflicts. 2016 Undergraduate Final Project Report NonPeerReviewed Shahriman Hassan (2016) A study of human-wildlife conflict in Jeli, Kelantan.
