Summary:This paper a brief review on factors affecting student's preference in transport mode selection for their journey living places to campus. In fact a hunger rapid in the economy, lead to increase the rate of vehicle per capita in Malaysia and its contributing to increase the effect to the people and the environment surrounding. It can be seen that nowadays the usage of private transpot by students is increasing compare to the public transport. There are many factors that influence student when they are choosing transportation mode for their journey. This paper discussed the findings of the research and to examine whether the objectives of this research can be achieved. The research comes out out with findings and analysis of data from the conducted the study. In accordance with the study objectives, the researchers explored the factors that affecting student's transport mode selection from four dimension which are routes, safety perception, convenience and user attitudes. Conclusion and recommendations will be suggested in the last chapter. This chapter also interpreted the results of study based on the respondent's feedback through answers the questionnaires that distributed. Lastly, the limitation of the study will also be discussed and researcher have suggested several recommendations for future research.
