Description
Summary:2,4-Di-Tert-Buthylphenol was found as natural herbicide in the previous study. In order to reach high agricultural productivity, which is save cost and time, a study had been done in combine the application of herbicide and fertilizer together in one time. Aerobic rice and Eleusine indica were used as bioassay species. This weed was planted with different growth stages of rice seedling (0, 3 and 6 DAS) and treated with the combined treatments. It was found that Tr3 (1.2 kg ai ha-1 2,4-DTBP + 150 kg ha-1) was the best application rate where it shows higher inhibition weed (<3O%) with negligible effect on rice seedling at 3 DAS. Based on all parameter measured, this treatment showed its effectiveness in inhibit weed emergence of Eleusine indica at 3 DAS and above, stimulate the root length, shoot height and chlorophyll content of aerobic rice significantly.
