This resear aimed to study the habitat of Malayan tapir in Gunung Basor Forest Reserve. In this study, the home range is estimated from the data obtained. The elevation level and the types of land use that include in the estimated home range were determined. The data had been analyzed using the Geographical Information System (GIS). The total area of 2 8759 m by estimated home range obtained is 449175362.54 m² with perimeter using Minimum Convex Polygon (MCP) method. The elevation range in the estimated area is between 100 m to 1880 m.
