Summary:Lower income community is the largest population group in Malaysia. This group made between just below or equivalent to RM2700 to RM6200 per month. This study investigates a participation level of lower income community in urban agriculture. The objective of the study is to identify which one is the main influence in participation level of lower income community towards urban agriculture; knowledge, perception or acceptance. This study was conducted by using quantitative study method by distributing research questionnaires to 100 respondents in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. The result was shown that the most influence factors are knowledge followed by perception then acceptance. The knowledge about agriculture is important so that if urban agriculture is implemented in the area by authorities, it can reduce the bad issues in the future. So that, more seminar or courses can be organized to introduce and give knowledge about urban agriculture to the lower income communit
