Betung. The experiment was done in Bukit Perawas Ayer Lanas, Kelantan. The Saccharum Officinarum cv. Betung seed ages at planting was 5 months old and involve five different angles in planting the planting material. The angles that have been tested were 0°, 22.5°, 45°' 66.5° and 90 °. The plant growth and the development parameters that were recorded were the number of emergence, length of shoot and girth of shoot. The result shows that the angles that can be used to mass propagation in sugarcane planting material were 0° and 90 °. There might also be some other environmental factor that affects the growth of emergence. For instance soil fertility and intensity of sunlight. Therefore, in mass propagation of sugarcane planting material, 0° and 90 ° can be used as the planting angles. Besides that, the species that is selected was Saccharum Officinarum cv.
