Summary:Entrepreneurship has become a common phenomenon in all over the world and there are plenty of studies that have been conducted to test this phenomenon according to the multiple factors and models. Everything starts with the intention of a person to step into the world of entrepreneurship and exploring it curiously for different expectations. Obviously, each business starts from a basic root which is known as intention and this intention is influence by few factors. Therefore, this paper is aim to determine the factors that affecting entrepreneurial intention among students in Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. The study was conducted by using three different factors which are entrepreneurship education, family background and personal attributes as well as the demographic details that are ranged from gender, age, race, faculty and year of study. A structured questionnaire was used to collect the date and it is personally distributed to 200 students who were exposed to an entrepreneurship course currently. Collected data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 18.0. Correlation, independent group t-test and regression were used to examine the relationship, the different between each variable and the extent of contribution of the variables to the entrepreneurial intention. The result signifies that entrepreneurial intention among students is affected by entrepreneurship education, family background and personal attributes.
